Characteristic
- 1. Excellent oil resistance: It has good resistance to mineral oil, vegetable oil, fatty oil, etc., suitable for transporting oil media or used in oily environments.
- 2. Chemical corrosion resistance: resistant to acid, alkali, solvents, and some chemicals, except for strong oxidizing acids (such as concentrated sulfuric acid and nitric acid).
- 3. Weather resistance and ozone resistance: UV resistance, aging resistance, suitable for long-term outdoor use, stable performance in ozone environments.
- 4. Good heat resistance: The working temperature range is usually from -30℃ to+90 ℃, and can reach up to 120 ℃ in a short time, which is better than ordinary rubber.
- 5. Flame retardancy: chloroprene rubber is inherently flame retardant and self extinguishing upon ignition, suitable for occasions with high fire prevention requirements.
- 6. Strong physical and mechanical properties: wear-resistant, tear resistant, good elasticity, suitable for dynamic use (such as bending and vibration environments).
- 7. Medium airtightness: superior to natural rubber but inferior to butyl rubber, suitable for medium and low pressure gas or liquid transportation.
- 8. Water resistance: Low water absorption, suitable for humid or underwater environments.
- 9. Electrical insulation: It has certain insulation properties, but not as good as specialized insulation materials, and can be used for general electrical protection.
